Viva Las Vegas

We went down to Vegas a couple of weeks ago for my old roommate, Heather's, wedding. One of my favorite experiences: We were waiting outside the temple for the newlywed couple to come out and the kids were running around and tackling each other. This one little girl saw two other kids tackling each other and said "help me, help me!" while pointing to the other kids. The best part - her underwear was down around her ankles and she was running around for awhile like that until her parents noticed. Rather than helping the girl, I decided to just laugh and take pictures instead.

Classic! We also enjoyed the wedding too and we're so happy for Heather and Daniel!
Here's a shot of Holland and me at the reception.
Holland had a good time on our little trip too. She got her first Happy Meal! And we've discovered that she could probably eat an entire happy meal by herself if we let her. Here's her reaching to get more chicken nuggets while I'm taking the picture.

She also loved Bryan's sister Shelly & Keith's dog - she kept saying "a-dogga, a-dogga!". Too bad the dog didn't want to play with Holland though. They did have a stuffed animal dog that was the same type as their real dog (a cocker spaniel) and Holland carried that thing around with her a lot. She would even climb up the stairs with it in tow.
We also went to the buffet at the Bellagio while we were there to celebrate Shelly's birthday. We decided to be a little daring and tried some curried duck, and we ate ostrich meat for the first time too. I was extremely disappointed with the crab cakes (I can honestly say that they were gross and I wasn't the only one that thought that), but that was the only thing I ate that wasn't good - everything else was great! And since it was a buffet, we definitely went back for seconds! Here's Bryan enjoying a little dessert.
Holland loved the buffet so much she wanted to hug the table :)
and she also apparently really likes this spoon
We always love a good trip to Vegas, so thanks Heather for getting married and giving us a reason to visit, and thanks Blanchards for your bounteous gift of cereal :) and thanks to the Davis' for letting us stay with you! It was great!
